<reviewbody>I have no remorse. Ryan Adams was unprepared and
his performance was flat-out *unprofessional*!
I've sincerely seen better individual performances
at open-mike nights. I was on the rail between
Phil and Ryan Adams and saw this first-hand.

Back in 1999, after Steve Kimock bailed out, Derek
Trucks stepped in. He *listened* to his bandmates
and made plenty of fine contributions, as I saw
five shows on that superb Dylan/Phil tour!

No, Derek did not sing, but as a musician, he
did all the things that are necessary in ensemble
playing that Adams did not have a single clue
of.

Sorry, guys, but I have no remorse. Easily
one of the worst gigs I've ever experienced in
over 2000 concerts spanning 27 years.</reviewbody>
<reviewtitle>Stay far away from this show!</reviewtitle>

<reviewbody>Give Ryan Adams some credit. His approach may be a bit different than others, but he has a great voice that meshes with this music very well. He sings with a lot of heart and soul and although he may not be as skilled on the guitar, he holds on just fine in the jam sections and adds a very raw element. This music has and always will be all about experimentation and taking chances. Ryan may come from a different musical world than Phil, but this only adds a fresh take on these time tested songs. Cheers to this collaboration, it's a very unique experience.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I understand Phil's desire to keep playing, and keep this music alive. That is great. But I also see it as an exercise in nostalgia that will never live up to a fraction of the original.

I actually think Ryan does a good job singing.

Did anybody pick up on the fact that the song Rosebud is about Jerry/his Guitar of that namesake. Took me a listen or two but the lyrics pretty clearly talk about "Rosebud ship wrecked up on the Ohio behind a wall of glass" (Rock & Roll Hall of fame in Cleveland, Ohio where Rosebud now resides in a glass case). Kinda cool!</reviewbody>
